Characterization

A characterization of a measuring instrument provides information about the measurement properties of an instrument under different working conditions.
The methods of characterization for water and heat meters were developed to investigate up to now inexplicable measurement errors.

A comprehensive characterization allows for an estimation of the true measuring properties of a measuring instrument during operation.

Dynamic measurement error

The measurement error during pulse operation provides information about the actual measurement error during operation. We ascertain the pulse response to a defined flow pulse but also to a flow profil
